Ann Arbor Art Fair — Nonprofit Section

The customer

The nonprofit section of the Ann Arbor Art Fair, recruiting organizations to claim booths each year.

The challenge

Recruiting nonprofits for booths was a yearly scramble driven by volunteers with limited time. Outreach happened in bursts when someone remembered, follow-up was inconsistent, and interested organizations slipped through the gap between first contact and actually applying.

What we built

A funnel that handles recruitment on its own. Interested organizations enter an automated sequence that explains the opportunity, answers the usual objections, and walks them to an application — with follow-up that happens reliably instead of when a volunteer has a spare evening. It resets and runs again each season without intervention.

Automated recruitment sequence for prospective organizations
Reliable follow-up — no more dropped interest
Copy that answers the common objections up front
Direct path from interest to submitted application
Runs itself season after season

The result

Booth participation doubled within three years, and the funnel keeps running on autopilot — no annual scramble, no volunteer evenings spent on outreach.
